Admission Procedure

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR CLASSES PRE-NURSERY TO IX REGISTRATION

The Online Registration link for Admission to the Academic Session 2025-26 will be available on the school website, https://littlestarhzb.in/downloads/forms

The Registration Form should be filled in all aspects after logging into the school website. A Registration number is generated after filling out the form. Parents are required to submit the duly filled-in hard copy of the Online Registration Form (Printout) with a recent passport-size colour photograph of the candidate, their father, and mother duly affixed on the Registration Form in the school office along with Registration Fees in cash within three days of filling the online registration form.

Parents must review the school website’s Prospectus and Admission Information booklet before filling in the registration form. The applications will be scrutinised, and only those found complete in all aspects will be selected for the Observation/ Assessment Test. Intimation of the exact date and time, along with the Admit Card, will be provided when submitting the Online Registration No. Applying for registration/ admission does not imply admission, which is subject to Observation cum-Interaction / Assessment. It is also subject to the availability of seats.

Please kindly submit the Online Registration Form through desktop/laptop only.

* Note: Registration through mobiles is not recommended.

ADMISSION PROCESS

After the observation/interaction assessment, a list of all successful candidates will be displayed on the school’s notice board. The parents of successful candidates must contact the school office to complete the admission formalities by depositing the required fee and other charges along with the necessary documents.

Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission:

  1. School leaving/transfer certificate and previous year’s Report Card (without this, no student from Class II onwards will be admitted).
  2. Medical Certificate in the given format.
  3. The birth certificate, in its original form, is to be brought for verification only.
  4. Recent passport-size colour photograph of the candidate and both the parents.
  5. Admission will be cancelled if any variance is found between the particulars filled in the Registration Form and the documents submitted for admission.
  6. A copy of the Aadhaar Card of the candidate
OBSERVATION-CUM-INTERACTION FOR CLASSES PRE-NURSERY, NURSERY, PREPARATORY, CLASS I AND CLASS II

Admissions to classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Preparatory, Class I and Class II will be granted based on the Observation-cum-Interaction. The presence of both parents during this period is mandatory. Kindly note that the school does not conduct interviews for admission into primary classes.

Parents will have to bring both copies of the Admit Card on the date and time mentioned on the cards when they come for the Observation-cum-Interaction. The Admit Card will have to be handed over to the Teacher Charge for Observation-cum-Interaction, and the parents will retain the Parent’s copy to collect their ward after the Observation Session.

AGE CRITERIA

The eligibility criterion for various classes is based on the child’s age. For the next academic year, the applicant’s age as on 31st March 2025, as recorded in the birth certificate, will determine the eligibility for Admission to a particular class.

Recommended Age Criteria for Admission in the Primary Classes are as follows:

ASSESSMENT AND INTERACTION SESSION FOR CLASS III TO IX

Class III to IX students will be assessed, followed by an interactive session. Both parents must be present at the school on the designated day.

Parents must bring copies of the Admit Card on the date and time mentioned on the Admit Cards when they bring their wards to school.

The entire procedure may last for three to four hours. Parents are advised to plan their schedules accordingly.

Before the assessment commences, Parents must hand over the student’s copy of the Admit Card to the Session in Charge.

SYLLABUS OF THE ASSESSMENT

Please note that the syllabus for admission assessment has been designed by a professional team of educators and psychologists to be stress-free for children. The Online Registration Form will only be accepted if any discrepancy is found between the particulars filled in the form and the supporting documents
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:

Following documents are required at the time of Admission:

  • Transfer Certificate in Original
  • Attested Copy of Original Mark sheet
    (will be submitted after the declaration of Board result)
  • Migration Certificate in Original (in case if the candidate is from Non-CBSE School)
  • Medical Examination Certificate issued by any Qualified Medical Practitioner
  • One Passport Size Photograph of the Candidate
  • Affidavit of Local Guardianship for Outstation Candidates (If Applicable)
  • Copy of Aadhar Card of the Candidate
